We employ a range of evaluation methodologies, including recognised models such as the European Commission MEANS methodology to bespoke metrics, each designed to fit with individual evaluation criteria to thereby deliver the most effective and ‘useful’ results.

‘Manchester City Council appointed Alan Johnson to evaluate the impact of it’s £540k Social Enterprise Investment Programme on the sustainability of the enterprises receiving funding (8 in total). In completing this task Alan devised an evaluation framework and undertook a baseline review and carried out detailed interviews with each of the enterprises. In so doing, they employed ‘Appreciative Inquiry’ technique to gain a more in-depth understanding from the social enterprises perspective.

The Evaluation was completed to an agreed timetable and within budget and Alan demonstrated a thorough understanding of the social enterprise sector a grass roots level and have experience in delivering support to social enterprises’.
