Iain’s key skills relate to supporting Academic Skills (currently working with Edge Hill University), supporting HEI students to improve their academic study skills. Iain specialises in providing support for students with specific learning differences (SpLD) for example, auditory processing and phonological processing difficulties.
Iain is a Certified Trainer of Text Help Read and Write 11.5 Gold Edition and use uses Inspiration, Mindview assistive software technology. Iain’s work includes completing diagnostic assessments and diagnostic reports for prospective SpLD students, to identify specific support needs so that students may achieve their full potential
